You arrive in Banja Luka. After the airport transfer to the hotel, you have some time to relax before you meet the group for welcome drinks in the evening.

After the city tour ride a traditional Dajak boat – this means of transportation has been used for hundreds of years to navigate the Vrbas' tricky currents (and might become UNESCO intangible world heritage soon!)
In the afternoon, we meet again for a wine-tasting experience at a Banja Luka boutique winery.
Included: Tasting of four local wines & lunch
Just outside Banja Luka, you find some thermal springs – cosy warm all throughout the year. This is where we end our day.
After breakfast, we visit an embroidery workshop and learn about the Zmijanje embroidery that has been declared UNESCO World Heritage. A special kind of embroidery native to the Banja Luka region.
The artisans give us detailed indstruction and teach us the specific stitches and patterns that make Zmijanje embroidery so distinctive.
We take the time for a short hike at Krupa na Vrbasu’s old watermills. The village has just been awarded as one of the most beautiful villages of the country – and we can’t wait to show you why!
We make it to Jajce in the late afternoon. After check-in, you can just stroll around, enjoy the evening, soak in the atmosphere and of course visit the famous Pliva waterfall – and we will show you the best place from where to snap the iconic photo of course!
We are kicking off the day with a guided city tour in Jajce – a city brimming with history, from being the capital of the Bosnian Kingdom to having been the birthplace of Yugoslavia.
On our journey, we stop in the middle of the fascinating landscape full of sinkholed. We enjoy a farm-to-table lunch at an Ethno Village in the middle of nature.
The day starts with a kayak tour along the blue heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Una River. We enjoy lunch on the riverbanks and visit two of the most beautiful waterfalls of the country.

We spent the evening in Bihać with some free time.
Today’s scenic drive holds a few more surprises: From Ostrozac castle to a short hike to Bliha waterfall and a stroll through Bosanska Krupa – you get to choose which one is your highlight!
After spending a day in the car, we get together one more time to celebrate the wonderful memories and friends we made this week on the fortress of Banja Luka.
Our week in Bosnia and Herzegovina ends with an airport transfer. But it's hopefully not a goodbye but a "See you again soon" because there is yet a lot to explore in this heart-shaped country.
