Discover Winter in the city of the 1984 Olympic Winter Games!
Who says Sarajevo is only a destination for summer? Winter offers a completely different picture of the Bosnian capital – from Christmas markets, to cosy cafés and crisp mountain hikes.
These five days are the perfect getaway to escape the winter gloom back home and load up on a dose of ćejf!
Your Sarajevo getaway begins with a smooth pickup from Sarajevo Airport to your accommodation.
Your guide and rakija curator will show you how to properly drink rakija while also teaching you its history and taking you to local cafes. Of course, you will also taste different flavours: plum, cherry, quince, or honey. There will also be typical Bosnian mezze.
This tour includes five different flavours of rakija as well as local snacks (cheeses and cured meats).
Our guided tour takes you on a journey through time – from the Ottomans to Austro-Hungarian rule to Tito’s Sarajevo and the city’s recent, sad past. You’ll not only hear about the city’s history and visit its most important sights – you’ll also learn a lot about the traditions and different cultures that shaped and still shape this place and learn how people live here today.
Food is the soul of a country. That's why, on this tour, you learn how to drink Bosnian coffee, try Bosnian sweets and sample local cheeses and cured meats at the market place.
Take the cable car up to Trebević. Covered in snow, the abandoned bobsleigh track with its graffiti is a real eye-catcher. You can either buy a two-way ticket and take the cable car back down or, if weather allows, hike down into the city along the old bobsleigh track and through Sarajevo's steep and narrow streets (ca. 7 kilometers).
This street food tour takes you to Grbavica – a residential Sarajevo neighbourhood. Eat the most delicious Bosnian food, explore a non-touristy area of town and learn about the siege of Sarajevo and the mentality of the Sarajevans on this Food Tour.

The first coffee at sunrise, standing on the summit and looking down into the valley, the clinking of glasses, an ice-cold white wine, and that is above all: a very personal and individual moment…
We are a small boutique travel agency that aims to create many of these small, beautiful moments on our trips. We believe that traveling mindfully, sustainably, and immersing yourself in the culture gives you a more captivating experience than simply checking off a list.
It’s time to define travel differently: With more focus on enjoying local fresh food, on the local community we work with, and on the beautiful, cultural differences that write the stories you tell your friends when you get home.
Our goal is that at the end of your trip, you’ll get off the plane back home and think, ‘Hey, that was an extraordinary experience!’
Thank you for booking with us.
