Rakija Tour

Time18:00
Duration3 to 3.5 hours

Discover Sarajevo through its most beloved drink — rakija!

This experience takes you beyond the typical bar crawl and into the places where locals actually go. You’ll visit two authentic venues — starting with a historic restaurant that has been producing its own rakija since 1918, followed by a hidden local kafana known for its lively atmosphere and (often) live tamburaši music.

Along the way, you’ll taste 5 different rakijas, including Bosnia’s most famous fruit brandy šljivovica, as well as unique local varieties like dunja, kajsija, and višnja liqueur. And because rakija is never drunk on its own, every stop includes traditional Bosnian mezze and snacks — just like locals enjoy them.

Sarajevo City Tour with Coffee, Baklava & Local Tastings

Time9:00
Duration3 to 4 hours

Sarajevo with a local friend.

On this 3.5 hour city tour, your local guide takes you on a journey through time and the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. You'll discover Sarajevo's landmarks, hear the stories of the diverse cultures that shaped the city — and still shape it today — and learn about the rich, complex tapestry of people who have called this place home for centuries.

Along the way, you'll taste the flavors of Sarajevo: city-specific baklava, the classic Bosnian dessert tufahija, and local cheeses and cured meats straight from the market. And you'll pause for a traditional Bosnian coffee, where your guide will explain what makes this ritual so special — because in Sarajevo, coffee is never just coffee.

Guided Hike along the 1984 Winter Olympics Bobsleigh Track

Time14:00

In nature in minutes: Hike along the abandoned 1984 Olympic bobsled track, discover the best city panorama, taste Bosnian meze, and experience Sarajevo's history away from the Old Town.

Just a few minutes from the Old Town, you take the cable car up to Trebević, the city's local mountain, where nature, art, Olympic anecdotes, and the traces of the siege in the 1990s come together.

You'll hike right along the abandoned bobsled track that was built for the 1984 Winter Olympics. Once a symbol of national pride and the Olympic spirit, today it is one of the most impressive 'Lost Places' in Europe: covered with graffiti and murals, it is slowly transforming into an open-air gallery – and we are walking right along it!

On the hike, your guide brings the spirit of Olympia to life with anecdotes and videos and also makes the siege of Sarajevo more tangible. Of course, there is always time for photo stops!

Sarajevo Food Tour: Eat where the locals eat

Time13:00
Duration5 to 6 hours

Skip the tourist spots and eat like a local in Sarajevo.

You’ll visit 5 carefully selected local spots: two traditional aščinicas, a burek bakery (we call that buregdžinica, the local market, a beloved patisserie from the 70s, and a student favorite for a rakija stop.

This is not a classic tasting tour with tiny samples. You can expect generous portions of Bosnian classics and local favorite dishes—enough to replace a full meal (or two).

Along the way, you’ll hear stories about Sarajevo’s food culture, daily life, and history, including a stop at the iconic Grbavica Stadium, home of FK Željezničar and a powerful symbol of the city.
